Found a number that looks wrong?

This is the most useful thing you can send us, and we would rather hear it than not. Include the tool you were using and the figures you put in, and we will check the calculation against its source. If a tool is wrong we fix it and say so on the page.

Questions about a tool

Every calculator has a “How this is calculated” section and a companion guide explaining where its figures come from. If something still is not clear, that is usually a sign the explanation needs work — tell us which part lost you.

Business and partnerships

Advertising, sponsorship and partnership enquiries go to the same address. Our disclosure policy explains how we handle paid relationships, and it does not change what a calculator returns.

We aim to reply within a few working days. Corrections to a live calculator are treated as urgent and handled first.
