Building a hub that links properly
- Every Overworld destination written down with its coordinates
- Each one converted and written in the table before building anything
- Both ends built BY HAND - do not let the game generate the far side
- Portals kept far enough apart that they do not capture each other
- Hub Y level chosen and used consistently
- Tunnels lit so nothing spawns in them
- Each portal labelled with a sign at both ends
- Linking tested by walking through before you rely on it
Build both ends yourself
The commonest hub failure is not maths, it is letting the game generate the far side of a portal. It searches for an existing portal nearby first, so a portal already in the area captures your link and two destinations end up sharing one exit. Build both ends by hand at the matching coordinates and the problem disappears.
