Changing your sensitivity
- Target chosen in cm/360, not eDPI

Copy centimetres, not eDPI
The same eDPI produces different sweeps in different games, because each applies its own yaw to the number you type. cm/360 is a physical distance and means the same everywhere. If you are matching someone's aim, or rebuilding your own on a new mouse, the centimetres are the thing to carry.
The change costs what its size costs
A few percent is absorbed in minutes. Halving or doubling your sweep resets a large part of your muscle memory and takes weeks to rebuild. Make a big move deliberately and then commit - drifting back and forth between two settings is worse than either one.
